You’ll play a crucial part in supporting children with diverse learning needs, both on-site and off-site. Here’s what the role entails:

Personalised Support:

Offer 1:1 assistance to pupils with special educational needs, adapting teaching techniques to foster their confidence and independence.

Be prepared to transport pupils to off-site locations for enriching learning experiences.

Collaboration and Planning:

Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver activities.

Support pupils during transitions and daily routines, whether in the classroom or during outdoor sessions.

Emotional Well-being:

Help pupils regulate their behaviour and emotions.

Encourage positive interactions and social skills, both within the school premises and in beautiful natural settings.

Assessment and Communication:

Contribute to formal SEND assessments.

Share valuable insights with families and home schools, ensuring a holistic approach to each child’s development.
