Interim Financial Accountant required for successful business in St Austell, Cornwall, for 3 to 6 months.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be taking ownership for the group financial accounting as well as other ad hoc projects. The Financial Accountant will be required to work on-site on a daily basis.
Duties will include:
- Management of the year-end process including liaising with the external auditors and preparation of audit files
- Preparing consolidated annual Group statutory accounts
- Overseeing the completion of the monthly group management accounts
- Preparing the corporation tax computations for the group and liaising with the group tax advisers as appropriate
- Working with all stakeholders to complete the annual budget for the forthcoming year
- Ad hoc projects
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified preferably with some experience in industry where you have managed the year end audit. It is essential that you can come in and hit the ground running. You will need to be technically solid and have good communication skills to be able to liaise with the various stakeholders within the business.
