Roadworks Site Agent - Major Highway Project - CornwallRandstad C&P are recruiting for an experienced Roadworks Site Agent to join a major highway project in Cornwall. This is a contract role offering a competitive rate and the opportunity to work on a challenging project within a leading construction company.

  • Minimum 4-month contract duration
  • Outside IR35 subject to IR35 assessment

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the roadworks interface with stakeholders, including earthworks, drainage companies, landowners, and local businesses.
  • Support commercial and planning teams with cost forecasts and programme development.
  • Ensure on-site supervision and compliance with Works Information.
  • Deliver roadworks according to project strategy and schedule.
  • Manage supply chain packaging and interactions among clients, stakeholders, and the on-site team.
  • Review safe systems of work and maintain detailed records of work done.
  • Mentor junior staff and foster effective team relationships.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Civil engineering qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in complex project delivery.

* Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.* Ability to obtain a highways passport.
