We are recruiting experienced Cabling & Fibre Supervisors for new fibre builds across Cornwall.
You will have at least two years of experience in Telecoms and FTTP fibre networks, supervising operational cabling and fibre engineering teams.
Salary up to £45K DOE, Company Vehicle, pension and excellent company benefits
The primary duties include the responsibility for the following:
- Supervise onsite cabling/fibre teams.
- Work closely with sub-contractors to deliver projects.
- Monitor the quality performance.
- Supervise all cabling, splicing and connections across multiple builds.
- Daily reporting on productivity.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
- Problem-solving day-to-day issues.
- Comply with Health & Safety and environmental policies.
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skills & qualifications:
- Two years minimum experience in Openreach PIA, across cabling, fibre and installations.
- Experience in supervising multiple builds and teams across a region.
- NRSWA Supervisor Accreditations.
- PIA Accreditations.
- Fibre Splicing & Testing knowledge.
- Good awareness of Health & Safety and Quality Assurance
- Organised and Professional
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills.
