JOB- Quality Engineer  LOCATION- CornwallTERM- PermanentSALARY- £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for Quality Engineer or Compliance Engineer on a permanent basis in the Cornwall area with experience in the manufacturing / Engineering industry. Your main duty will be to assist the Quality Management Team to ensure Compliance to the various regulations including both Quality and Health & Safety.The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience
  • Experience working as a Quality Engineer, Compliance Engineer or similar title.
  • Must have previous experience of working with an ISO9001 Quality Management System.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Familiar with Root Cause, 8D, 5 Why’s or similar problem solving tools.
  • Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Any experience of ISO14001 - Beneficial
The Quality Engineer role will involve:
  • Maintaining the QMS to ISO9001
  • Advising on any issues within the business to bring in line with the appropriate regulations.
  • Conducting Internal Quality audits and liaising with external regulatory bodies.
  • Liaising with other departments
