We are delighted to partner with a leading manufacturing company located in Cornwall. This business is experiencing significant growth and is now seeking an accomplished Manufacturing Engineer to join their expanding Technical Engineering Department and support their commitment to quality and innovation.

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Analysing and improving manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain production systems that meet quality and safety standards.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Assisting in the introduction of new equipment and technologies to support production needs.
  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring all manufacturing operations are compliant with health, safety, and quality regulations

Successful Manufacturing Engineer will have:

  • A relevant engineering qualification such as an NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND, or Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
  • A proven track record in a similar role within a FMCG, or other regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
