JOB – Power Plant / Site Manager LOCATION – Cornwall TERM- PermanentSALARY – £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for a Factory Manager, Site Manager, Plant Manager or similar Manager within an Energy or Power generation business on a permanent basis in the Cornwall area. Your main duties will include overseeing the facility including training, development of staff and day to day problem solving.The Plant / Site Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Experience working as an Site or Plant Manager within Power Generation, Nuclear Energy, Renewable Energy, Turbine Generation or similar power / electrical industries.
  • Familiar with processes and technical requirements of a power generation facility.
  • Exposure to managing manufacturing, operations, maintenance, and Health & Safety of a site.
  • Capable of leading a team day to day to improve performance and reliability of plant.
  • Can communicate with other members of staff and other members of management.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Experience of managing or overseeing Health and Safety responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as team
  • Exposure to Renewable Energy - Beneficial.
The Site / Plant Manager role will involve:
  • Overseeing the day to day operation of the energy generation facility.
  • Responsible for Health & Safety, Maintenance and Operations.
  • Drive an attitude of continuous improvement activities within the business.
  • Taking a “hands on” approach within business and creating SOP’s.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure KPI’s are met.
