JOB – Power Plant / Site Manager LOCATION – Cornwall TERM- PermanentSALARY – £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for a Factory Manager, Site Manager, Plant Manager or similar Manager within an Energy or Power generation business on a permanent basis in the Cornwall area. Your main duties will include overseeing the facility including training, development of staff and day to day problem solving.The Plant / Site Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

Experience working as an Site or Plant Manager within Power Generation, Nuclear Energy, Renewable Energy, Turbine Generation or similar power / electrical industries.
Familiar with processes and technical requirements of a power generation facility.
Exposure to managing manufacturing, operations, maintenance, and Health & Safety of a site.
Capable of leading a team day to day to improve performance and reliability of plant.

Can communicate with other members of staff and other members of management.

Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Experience of managing or overseeing Health and Safety responsibilities.
Ability to work independently as well as team
Exposure to Renewable Energy - Beneficial.

The Site / Plant Manager role will involve:

Overseeing the day to day operation of the energy generation facility.
Responsible for Health & Safety, Maintenance and Operations.
Drive an attitude of continuous improvement activities within the business.
Taking a “hands on” approach within business and creating SOP’s.
Liaising with other departments to ensure KPI’s are met.
