Job Title Production Test and Quality Inspector – Electronics - Up to £30,000Location CornwallDescription A long standing respected electronics design & manufacturing organisation is looking for a replacement Production Test and Quality Inspector.Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all production meet the customer requirements and are optimised to meet the required manufacturing standards whilst meeting the objectives of the business.DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

Product testing and fault finding.
Record and report Operator Production Faults using Data Base, producing and presenting statistics for analysis.
Record Customer returns using the ‘Returns Data Base’
Fault find, diagnose and repair customer returns as required.
Correctly utilise, maintain and repair company and customer test equipment.
Assist in the creation and amendment of test specifications as required.
Work with the Engineering Dept to implement new products.
Assist the Manufacturing Service to drive down manufacturing costs.

Skills and Experience.

Relevant experience as a Production/Electronic Component Engineer (or similar) in an electronic manufacturing environment (PCB and electro-mechanical assembly).
Experience of testing electronic assemblies and components.
Ability to produce work instructions and process notes.
IT Literate.
Ability to work in a team.
Proven fault finding ability.
