SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: Full time/Part time - Long term contracts or Permanent roles 8:30 - 15:30
Location: Cornwall (In a school local and accessible to you)
Start date: Roles for immediate start and September start
Pay: £85 - £105 per day, dependant on experience - To be discussed upon registration
Long-Term Teachers are on the lookout for SEN Teaching Assistants for Long-Term and Permanent roles across Cornwall.
We are a local independent agency who work closely with wonderful SEN Schools in Bude, Launceston, Liskeard, Bodmin, St Austell, Truro, Falmouth, Redruth, Penzance and surrounding areas!
We are constantly on the look out for SEN TAs for Part-time and full time work, so whether you are on the look out for your next role or simply interested in seeing whats out there, get in contact for a confidential chat!
The Desired Candidate will have:
- Experience working with children/Young people with special needs. (This could be in a school setting or within roles with transferable skills like care, youth work or coaching.)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of strategies to support young people with both their studies and wellbeing
- Understanding of additional needs including ASD, SEMH and ADHD.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
