My client is looking to recruit an experienced hands-on Customer Service Team Leader to start as soon as possible. You will be required to work from 08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) and the annual salary will be £28,000 to £30,000.

The Customer Service Team Leader is a vital role in the business, you will be responsible for the small team of customer service advisors (4) who are the first point of contact for all customers with regard to placing orders, order progress, delivery times and order queries. 

Job Description

  • Overseeing day-to-day customer service team operations, monitoring the team of 4 performance, providing training and coaching, handling escalated customer issues
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), Analysing customer service processes, and generating reports on team performance
  • Dealing with a large volume of inbound customer service-related calls regarding, placing orders, order progress, delivery times and order queries.
  • Entering sales orders accurately and promptly onto the in-house system.
  • Up selling and cross selling to customers when taking orders
  • Liaise daily with the manufacturing and shipping teams.
  • Updating spreadsheets containing customer and order details

Person Specification
