Our client is a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management company who has a leading presence in the North West region. They are now seeking to take on a qualified and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a mixed portfolio of sites with their established team of risk assessors / engineers. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a company where they have the chance to manage their own portfolio of clients and gain experience of carrying out risk assessments on complex process systems and cooling towers.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Liverpool, Birkenhead, Bolton, Bury, Blackburn, Preston, Blackpool, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Warrington, Stockport, Macclesfield, Crewe, Chester, Warrington, Buxton.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding an industry relevant qualification e.g., City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment is essential to the role.
" Will have extensive experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor and / or Water Hygiene Engineer for an established Legionella / Water Hygiene company.
" Extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Will have good IT skills.
" Able to communicate and organise work schedule efficiently.

The Role:
" Carrying out legionella risk assessments on both hot and cold-water systems.
" Creating and working from site specific schematic drawings.
" Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" Upon completion of risk assessments, producing detailed legionella reports.
" Producing detailed legionella management plans for clients, ensuring that any actions needed are implemented.
" Calorifier flushing.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Carrying out closed system sampling and analysis, ensuring to dose with correct chemicals.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Completing onsite logbooks.
