DCT Recruitment have an exciting opportunity to join our client as Structural Engineer based in St.Helens.The business has grown steadily over the last 10 years and developed a reputation for reliability, quality, and professionalism.To support our continued growth, we are now looking for a qualified and experienced Engineer to join the team.Projects will focus on:• Low rise residential developments with project value £500k-£2.0m.• Residential extensions and alterations project values to £250k.• Residential and commercial structural surveys.The candidate must have sound project management and communication skills, both written and verbal, and be willing to manage and develop technicians and be comfortable dealing with clients' architects and contractors on a daily basis.The role:• Supporting the Directors.• Taking the lead role on the engineering design of small projects.• Guiding technicians to produce working drawings.• Undertaking structural surveys and site inspections.• Supporting teammates for projects in a collaborative fast-paced environment.• Using effective verbal and written communication to update team with project statuses.• Problem solving.The ideal candidate:• Will have minimum 3 years of work experience in structural engineering design in structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, load bearing masonry and timber.• Will be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.If you meet the criteria above and looking for an exciting challenge, then we'd love to hear from you.Benefits• Holiday = 22 Days + 3 Days Christmas + 8 Days bank holidays Pension Bonus opportunities • Flexible working subject to availability / negotiation.To apply, please send your CV to or call on
