Our client a leading legal firm that specialises in personal injury claims and conveyancing services are currently recruiting for a Personal Injury Fee Earner to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large firm of solicitors, working within the Personal Injury Department. You will be progressing your own case loads efficiently to both satisfy the client and maximise the Firm’s interests.

As a Personal Injury Fee Earner, your duties will be: -

  • Effective us of Firm’s case management system.
  • Manage own case load efficiently.
  • Liaise with referrers and manage their expectations in respect of quality and service.
  • Take initial instructions from clients.
  • Ability to vet a claim at initial stages.
  • Investigate liability/assessing quantum. Liaise with Counsel/Instructions to Counsel.
  • Liaise with Insurers. Litigation work subject to experience.
  • Drafting court documents where appropriate.
  • Negotiating settlements.
  • Weekly reports to team managers. Training new staff entering the department as and when required.

The successful Personal Injury Fee Earner will have the following skills:

  • Worked within a similar role previously.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Basic typing skills/computer skills.
  • Good telephone manner/ability to communicate effectively.
