Teaching Assistant - Wigan - Feb Start

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced level 3 qualified teaching assistant to join a Secondary School in Wigan.

This particular role is for a Teaching Assistant, who is experienced in working with students across the school, aged 11 - 16. You will be required to support staff and students in a variety of ways, including special needs support and exam invigilation. The successful applicant will work across a range of resource provisions, liaising with staff, parents and support the children.

This position will be ideal for a recent graduate or for someone with teaching assistant experience who is looking to gain more experience in a classroom environment before perhaps embarking on a PGCE in September 2025 or 26. You will be working with small groups of students to provide intervention support and help within the classroom. As a teaching assistant you will help the teacher maintain a calm and consistent learning environment.
