Tradewind Recruitment is excited to present some excellent opportunities for a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join Primary Schools across St. Helen's.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to all students, including those with additional educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with teachers to adapt learning materials and activities to meet student's individual needs
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them engage and succeed in their learning
  • Supporting student's emotional and social development in a safe, inclusive environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive, structured learning space

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Teaching assistant in a Primary School
  • Experience supporting students with SEN needs
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children and young people
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS
