Panel Wireperson - St Helens - 30,000 DOE Plus excellent benefits

This company, a National player in the Engineering and Maintenance world, require a Panel Wireperson to be based at their prestigious client site in St Helens. An outstanding opportunity to become part of a leading Engineering and Maintenance provider supporting customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables and food & beverage markets.

Pay Rate: 30,000 DOE Plus excellent benefits

Location: St Helens

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Panel Wireperson Responsibilities:

  • Provide wiring, mechanical assembly and fitting of components within electrical control cabinets and systems.
  • Read and understand circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
  • Wire electrical control cabinets and systems.
  • Fit out and assemble components within electrical control cabinets and systems.
  • Team working, Working knowledge of 5S/Lean manufacturing and achievement of KPI's.

The successful candidate:

  • Time served electrical apprenticeship
  • Panel Wiring and Assembly experience is essential
  • Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to wire electrical control cabinets and systems.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a multi-skilled team.
  • Ability to fit out and assemble components within electrical control cabinets and systems.
