PP Associates are recruiting on behalf of a Client in St Helens.

Our Client is seeking anEvent Plannerto join their team to coordinate two key events at Christmas.

Start: 21/10/2024

End date: 12/01/2025

Role: Temporary, Full Time. 37 hours per week.

Salary: £20.84 per hour

About the role

St Helens Council are seeking an experienced Events planner to for an immediate startto co-ordinate and manage two Christmas events. The events are30.11.24and07.12.24.

To be successful in this role you must have the following;

Ability to organise exhibitions, public and partner participation forums, community events

Excellent team working skills to ensure the smooth running of events

Organises content, recommendations and presentation of material for Committees, meetings and formal public events, exhibitions, or inquires.

Experience of event organising (e.g. press briefings, staff conferences)

Media relations experience, including responses to media enquiries, organising media events (e.g. press briefings and photo calls), media monitoring, copywriting media materials (e.g. news releases and briefing notes), evidence of work with local and regional media (across print, TV and digital)

Able to attend meetings and events out of normal office hours and hold a full drivers licence (or able to travel to various sites

Good inter-personal skills and experience of working with community groups and volunteers on public events and activities.

Experience of working with vulnerable and community groups
