Your new firmAs Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for the year-end accounts preparation for a range of clients including complex limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. You will prepare corporation tax computations and returns as well as preparing deferred tax calculations, and VAT returns preparations. You will use a variety of accounting software, as used by the client, including CCH. You will also manage your own portfolio of clients and be a direct point of contact, managing all queries.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience handling accounts for a wide range of clients in a practice environment, for Partner review. You will ideally need to be AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience (QBE). You will need experience using a variety of accounting software and a strong working knowledge of Excel. You will need strong communication skills as well as good attention to detail and organisation skills. The ability to review the work of junior staff and provide training to junior staff will be ideal.
