Accountable Executive is supporting a large client based in Haydock as they seek to appoint a Finance Director with large company experience alongside acquisition/due diligence experience.

With an expanding international footprint and a strong focus on transformation, they are looking for a Finance Director to shape strategic direction and lead financial excellence.

The Role:

You'll drive strategy at Board level while overseeing day-to-day financial operations. This is a hands-on leadership role with major impact-leading transformation, optimising systems, supporting growth, and playing a key role in M&A activity.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven senior finance leadership in large, complex organisations
  • Experience in multi-entity/service-based environments
  • Strong track record in M&A-from due diligence to integration
  • Strategic thinker + operational doer
  • Deep knowledge of UK tax and compliance
  • Experience with finance transformation and tech enablement
  • Strong leadership, communication & stakeholder skills
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or working towards)
