As a Finance Controller, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing all financial aspects of the business.
Description
- Oversee the financial operations for the business.
- Manage a small Finance team of 3 people and offer support and guidance when necessary.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and policies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports including profit & loss account, consolidated reporting pack, inventory depreciation report and inter company matching report.
- Accounting for Fixed Assets, accruals and prepayments and inventory.
- Sales/margin analysis and review
- Review of VAT returns, PAYE payments , P11'd's and other HMRC returns.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Analyse market trends to maximise profits and find expansion opportunities
- Full end to end management account packs.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
- Collaborate with the management team to set budgets and financial objectives
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a relevant field
- Part qualified or qualified by experience.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Proficiency in financial software and databases
- Excellent analytic and decision-making abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and professional conduct.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must be proactive, well organised and be able to work unsupervised.
