Description
- Oversee all finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general ledger management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure financial targets are met.
- Develop and maintain the budget and monitor performance against target through forecasting and variance analysis.
- Reconciling VAT report and submitting to HMRC on time.
- Produce end to end monthly management accounts.
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and post journals for accruals prepayments
- Post Depreciation
- Managing the Fixed Asset Register
- Ensure all financial operations are in compliance with statutory regulations.
- Offer financial advice to management to aid in business planning and decision making.
- Monitor the budgeting process and conduct risk management.
- Participate in the development of strategic plans and objectives.
- Lead a small Finance team ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- AAT Qualified.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficient in using financial software and tools.
- High level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
