Description

  • Oversee all finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general ledger management.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Develop and maintain the budget and monitor performance against target through forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Reconciling VAT report and submitting to HMRC on time.
  • Produce end to end monthly management accounts.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare and post journals for accruals prepayments
  • Post Depreciation
  • Managing the Fixed Asset Register
  • Ensure all financial operations are in compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Offer financial advice to management to aid in business planning and decision making.
  • Monitor the budgeting process and conduct risk management.
  • Participate in the development of strategic plans and objectives.
  • Lead a small Finance team ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • AAT Qualified.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Proficient in using financial software and tools.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
