Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Older People's team. This role involves working closely with patients to improve their quality of life, promoting independence, and supporting recovery.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions for older people.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to create tailored care plans.
- Conduct home assessments and recommend necessary adaptations.
- Provide advice and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with NHS standards.
Requirements
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience in older people's care is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
