English Lecturer

Merseyside

Full Time, Permanent (36 hours per week)

£30-35k

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a lecturer, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of teaching / training / assessment on the courses that you teach and accountable to senior leadership and curriculum managers for the academic and professional standards, performance and outcomes of the course you teach.

Requirements

  • UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent
  • Relevant subject degree, such as a Bachelor in English or similar
  • Recent experience delivering GCSE English, Functional Skills and or English Language/Literature at A Level

Reed Further Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment by undergoing a 5 year’s employment check and a DBS Application, completing mandatory training within 6 weeks of your first assignment and annually thereafter.
