Reed Further Education are a leading recruitment agency working with colleges, prisons, universities, and training providers across the UK. We are looking for an experienced English Lecturer for one of the north west’s leading further education colleges.
English Lecturer
Merseyside
Full Time, Permanent (36 hours per week)
£30-35k
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a lecturer, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of teaching / training / assessment on the courses that you teach and accountable to senior leadership and curriculum managers for the academic and professional standards, performance and outcomes of the course you teach.
Requirements
- UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent
- Relevant subject degree, such as a Bachelor in English or similar
- Recent experience delivering GCSE English, Functional Skills and or English Language/Literature at A Level
Reed Further Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment by undergoing a 5 year’s employment check and a DBS Application, completing mandatory training within 6 weeks of your first assignment and annually thereafter.
