We are seeking a detailed-oriented, proactive Payroll Manager to join our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with regulations in our business services sector.

Description

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of payroll operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Resolve employee complaints regarding payroll issues.
  • Prepare reports for senior management, finance department, and auditors.
  • Stay informed about payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for payroll department.
  • Ensure weekly timesheets are inputted accurately and obtained on time.
  • Produce and upload BACS file for payment.
  • Generate weekly invoices

Profile

A successful Payroll Manager should have:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Sage50 and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
  • Superior numerical and analytical skills.
