The Role: 

We are looking for a candidate that can make their mark in a niche & bespoke industry... Here's how: 

  • Inventory Management: Accurately maintain stock levels, carry out stock checks, and ensure the proper organization of materials and equipment.
  • Goods In/Out: Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials; handle outgoing goods in a timely, organized manner.
  • Order Fulfillment: Prepare and issue parts and components to production teams based on project requirements.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of inventory, deliveries, and discrepancies, utilizing stock management software where necessary.
  • Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and alert the purchasing team when reordering is necessary.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stores environment, following all safety protocols.

About You:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role, ideally within the electrical engineering or manufacturing sectors.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical components, such as HV/LV equipment, switchboards, or motor control panels, is highly beneficial.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move materials as required for the role.
  • Software: Basic experience with inventory management software or willingness to learn.
  • License: FLT Counterbalance License would be preferred but is by no means essential!
