We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join an established engineering company based in Merseyside. In this role, you will contribute to delivering a range of rail-civil design projects across the North West. Key responsibilities include acting as a designer in compliance with CDM/CSM regulations, preparing and supporting the development of both outline and detailed designs for various projects, checking and approving procedures throughout project delivery, and mentoring junior engineers. We are hiring at multiple levels (Standard, Senior, and Lead Engineers) to support these vital projects.

The successful candidate MUST be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering and be actively working towards chartership with a membership of a relevant institution. Strong technical skills in civil engineering design on the railway with an understanding of Network Rail standards is essential, along with knowledge of civil design and construction principles / standards. Proficiency in computer analysis programs such as TEDDS and Supersuite is required, as well as experience in producing drawings using 2D/3D MicroStation, and carry a full UK driving license as you will be visiting sites across the Northwest.
