Adecco are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paralegal to join our client's dynamic legal team. Our client is a well-established law firm known for their commitment to excellence.

Working hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Salary: negotiable depending on experience - £24,000 to £30,000 per annum.

You will be working within the Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Litigation department.

Location: St Helens

As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for supporting the legal team in all aspects of case preparation and document management within Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence and Litigation. You will work closely with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to gather and organise relevant information, conduct legal research, draught legal documents, and assist with trial preparation.

The ideal candidate for this position has a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. You should also be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with case management, including organising documents, preparing legal forms, and maintaining case files.
  • Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information.
  • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Assisting with trial preparation, including organising exhibits and coordinating witness interviews.
  • Collaborating with attorneys and clients to ensure effective communication and case progress.
  • Fee Earner - desired

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate or relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
