We have multiple openings for experienced Site Managers to join a top-tier contractor delivering complex deep drainage, road, and sewer projects across the North West. These are high-profile projects requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead deep drainage operations, ensuring safe and efficient installation of large-diameter pipes and infrastructure.
  • Oversee challenging groundworks, working in live environments with deep excavations, trench support, and heavy plant.
  • Drive site safety, enforcing CDM regulations, RAMS, and best practices in temporary works and confined spaces.
  • Manage teams of engineers, subcontractors, and trades to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Control site logistics, materials, and sequencing to hit deadlines and budget targets.
  • Ensure all works comply with NRSWA (Streetworks), drainage regulations, and project specifications.
  • Work closely with senior management, clients, and local authorities to deliver top-quality infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in deep drainage, roadworks, and sewers.
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid at Work.
  • Strong knowledge of deep excavation, trench support systems (e.g., trench boxes, sheet piling), and confined space safety.
  • Experience managing heavy plant, dewatering systems, and pipe-laying operations.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
