The Mechanical Engineering Technician position offers a salary between £43,818 and £46,124 per annum.
This role is based in Liverpool and requires a commitment of 37.5 hours a week from Monday to Friday.
Candidates should have a relevant Engineering Apprenticeship and be qualified to NVQ level 3, along with proven experience in a similar technical role.
The technician will be responsible for maintenance on the float and production press, and must be willing to join the on-call team.
Additional benefits include an on-call allowance, 25 days of holiday, a gainshare bonus scheme, on-site parking, and a cycle to work scheme.

My client is looking for a suitably qualified mechanical engineer to join the engineering team at one of the world’s largest manufacturers of glass and glazing products on a fixed term 12-month contract. You will be responsible for aspects of maintenance on the float and production press comprising of compressed air, gas and cooling water.Experience and Qualification Required

A relevant Engineering Apprenticeship and be qualified to NVQ level 3, with proven experience within a similar technical role.
To work unsupervised for extended periods and be capable of identifying, generating and managing own workload.
Must be willing to join the 1-in-9 on call team to provide out of hours coverage in line with the needs of the process and must be flexible to respond to changes in priority or emergency situations which may include operating on a shift system.
