Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of CNC machined parts for the oil & gas industry, who are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team.
Mechanical Design Engineer Job Overview- Creating and modifying 3D modelling drawings with the use of Creo Parametric
- Producing FEA and simulations with the use of ANSYS and LUSAS
- Assisting with procurement of materials
- Providing estimates and quotations to customers
- Liaising with customers and responding to technical enquiries
- Proven background within a Mechanical Design Engineering role
- Degree or apprentice qualified within a Design, Engineering or Manufacturing related topic
- Based in a commutable distance of St Helens, Warrington
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of GD&T
- Proficient with 3D modelling software, ideally Creo
- Experience with FEA simulation
- Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
- Holiday allowance and pension
