Are you a passionate and inspiring Music Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and well-respected secondary school in St Helens, seeking a dynamic Music Teacher to join their team full-time from January 2025.

About the Role:

As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to develop a thriving music department further. You will play a key role in fostering a love of music in students, encouraging creativity, and supporting their musical development. The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive music lessons.
  • Prepare students for GCSE Music, ensuring high standards of achievement.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular music activities, such as school concerts and musical performances.
  • Collaborate with other staff to support the wider school community.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • A degree in Music or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level, preferably including GCSE.
  • A passion for music and education, with the ability to inspire students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage all students.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
