The Role:

  • Fabricate and install copper busbars and components according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to assemble switchgear units to a high standard.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and shape copper bars using appropriate tools and machinery.
  • Ensure all components meet quality standards and industry regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Copper Fabricator, preferably within the electrical switchgear industry.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and fabrication equipment such as benders, drills, and cutters.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a fabrication setting.
