The Role:

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll efficiently and supporting the wider payroll function. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate payments, maintaining records, and providing excellent service to employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Input and verify timesheets to ensure staff are paid correctly.
  • Manage starters and leavers, including issuing P45s.
  • Ensure all payroll-related information is correctly recorded and maintained.
  • Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll reports for internal use.
  • Support compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
  • Liaise with HMRC regarding PAYE, tax codes, and other payroll-related matters.

About You:

Experience in payroll processing, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Good knowledge of payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and payroll software.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
