Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a highly motivated, experienced Procurement Lead to spearhead a dynamic team and drive improvements in procurement efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance.

As the Procurement Lead, you will:


* Lead a small but mighty team of 3 procurement professionals, providing mentorship, training, and continuous performance improvement.
* Negotiate and manage critical supplier relationships, ensuring on-time deliveries, cost savings, and streamlined operations.
* Be the front-line driver of improvements, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions that increase productivity and reduce costs.
* Oversee the purchasing process for a variety of goods, services, and materials while ensuring compliance with all government policies and procedures.
* Take the lead in supplier management, including recovery plans and regular performance reviews.
* Drive the development and execution of procurement strategies and influence key stakeholders across the organisation.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on procurement progress, continuously identifying areas for improvement.


The successful Procurement Lead will have: -


* Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of material planning and procurement processes, gained within a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and digital procurement platforms, ideally SAP.
* A track record of delivering cost savings, supplier performance improvement, and driving continuous operational improvements.
* Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
