Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in St. Helens who are seeking a Drama Teacher for a long-term role due to start after October half-term. This is a maternity position due to continue until the end of the academic year in July and will require the successful Drama Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4.
The successful Drama Teacher will be joining a 11-16 academy which stands at the centre of the local community. Our client school follows in the footsteps of Chris in everything that they do. The successful candidate will be joining a Creative Arts department who aim to stimulate creativity through their students, allowing them to articulate through expression in their work. At Key Stage 4, our client school follow the AQA GCSE Drama specification.
Pay for this position is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.
To be considered for this Drama Teacher position based in St. Helens the essentials are:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
