Prospero Teaching are working closely with a good primary school in St Helens to recruit a class teacher for a long-term teaching role from January. This is a great opportunity for an ECT looking for their first long-term role.

Are you a creative and hardworking teacher ready to commit to a long-term class teacher role from January? This is a maternity cover required for spring and summer terms, where you will be fully responsible for the planning, teaching and assessment for your class. You will need to have confident behaviour management skills, and be able to create an interesting, calm and productive learning environment for the children. This role is open to both ECTs and experienced primary teachers.

Starting as a supply teacher is a fantastic way to prove yourself in a school and potentially secure a permanent position. Many ECTs work on supply to gain experience and gain valuable insight into different schools and year groups.

The salary range is Main scale 1 to 6, equating to a daily rate of 130 to 250 depending on experience.
