The Role:

As an RE Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of Key Stage 5 in the future. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the national curriculum, a passion for inspiring students, and a commitment to delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach RE to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5.Develop and implement effective lesson plans and schemes of work.Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and respect for different beliefs.Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and staff meetings.Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum, ensuring it is challenging, relevant, and engaging for all students.

The Ideal Candidate:We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring individual who is passionate about teaching Religious Education. The successful candidate will:

Hold a relevant degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field.Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be working towards it.Be able to deliver RE lessons in an engaging and thought-provoking way.Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.Be committed to supporting students of all abilities and backgrounds.Show enthusiasm for contributing to the wider life of the school.
