The Role:

  • Covering lessons while the teacher is on PPA
  • Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
  • Maintaining regular communication with the class teacher to monitor progress of the pupils
  • Building rapport with students, staff and parents

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification required
  • Previous experience covering lessons for KS1 and KS2

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
