Monday - Friday: Start times between 6.00AM & 4.00PM

Day to Day Duties

  • Safely and efficiently shunt vehicles within the facility premises, moving vehicles into loading tunnel for unloading/loading
  • carry out the manual loading and unloading of goods
  • Communicating effectively with other team members and drivers to coordinate vehicle movements.
  • Conducting pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar shunting position is required.
  • Successful candidate will need to be physically fit and comfortable with the manual handling aspect of the role.
  • Confidence and ability to drive Class 1 vehicles.
  • Familiarity with safe driving practices and manoeuvring techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Category C+E Licence

Desirable Experience

  • Previous shunting experience would be an advantage

What training is provided?

  • 30 minute assessment prior to first shift.
