Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in St. Helens who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a long-term role due to start ASAP, on a full-time basis.
Our client school are seeking a Learning Support Assistant who has knowledge and hands-on experience of delivering Phonics. This would be a great opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant who has knowledge of working in a Primary School and is looking to enhance their experience with Phonics in a high school. This role would include supporting students in KS3 to enhance their reading ability.
Pay for this position is up to £95 per day.
To be considered for this Learning Support Assistant position based in St. Helens the essentials are:
- Hands-on experience delivering phonics
- Previous experience working with secondary aged students (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
