In preparation for the 2024/25 academic year, we are seeking proactive and adaptable SEMH Teacher to support our educators and contribute to the overall educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored, high-quality lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to enhance student learning.
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and external agencies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching practices and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
