In preparation for the 2024/25 academic year, we are seeking proactive and adaptable SEMH Teacher to support our educators and contribute to the overall educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored, high-quality lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to enhance student learning.
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and external agencies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching practices and strategies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
