Transport Planner - St Helens - Up to 33,500

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join the logistics team based in St Helens.

The Transport Planner will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities, developing efficient routes, and ensuring on-time delivery of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday

Week 1 - 10-8
Week 2 - 7-5

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate routes for Artics & 44 Tonne Vehicles.
Monitor and manage vehicle fleets to ensure efficient utilization
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize transportation processes
Communicate with drivers and external partners to ensure timely delivery of goods
Analyse transportation data and identify areas for improvement

Experience

Previous experience Planning nationwide routes
Proven ability to optimize transportation routes and schedules
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of WTD,Tachos
Pallet network background would be advantageous
3-4 Years minimum working in a similar role within the transport industry
