Our client, the largest independent commercial vehicle maintenance provider in the North West, is seeking for a HGV and LCV Technicians to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be playing a key role in inspecting, servicing, and repairing our fleet of heavy goods vehicles to the highest standards.

Role: HGV/LCV Technician

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Hours: Various shift patterns

Location: Haydock

Key responsibilities:

  • Routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults using the latest diagnostic tools.
  • Completing inspections in line with DVSA standards.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
  • Working efficiently as part of a supportive workshop team.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working on HGVs in a workshop environment.
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and attention to detail.
  • HGV Class 1 or 2 licence (desirable but not essential).
  • IRTEC accreditation (bonus but not required).
