Food Tech Teacher
ABOUT THE SCHOOLProspero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Food Tech Teacher for a Secondary school in St Helens. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. Most of the timetable for this role will be key stage 3 and key stage 4.The position is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT DETAILS路 Location - St Helens路 Position - Food Tech Teacher路 Contract or position start date - January 2025 (ASAP)路 Likely Duration - Until the end of the academic year路 Contract or position end date (if applicable) - On going路 Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary路 Full time/part time - Full time路 Minimum rate of pay - Paid to scale路 Hours - 8:00 am - 4pm, plus parents evenings
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS路 QTS or equivalent路 Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK路 Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:路 Hold Right to Work in the UK路 Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application路 Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
