Reed Engineering are seeking a CNC Miller to join a long-established engineering company renowned for manufacturing high-quality components across various industries. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in producing precision parts from the design-prototype stage through to production, focusing on small batch and prototype machining.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Program, set, and operate CNC Mills to produce high precision components.
  • Set up new products on machines, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Maintain tooling equipment and manage machine operations to meet production deadlines.
  • Run production jobs on CNC machines and carry out all necessary inspections to ensure parts are manufactured correctly according to the drawings.
  • Work closely with the team to meet tight production deadlines and contribute to the expansion and development of the machine shop.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience using Heidenhain controls and/or Haas controls.
  • Proficiency with Mastercam software and One CNC.
  • Strong personal motivation and commitment to achieving production targets.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
  • Keen to contribute to the growth and development of the machine shop environment.
