We are supporting this leading, specialist, Engineering business in their search for a Senior Project Manager. This is a pivotal role in the organisation and is critical to managing long term, high value, projects. Reporting directly to the MD, the Senior Project Manager will oversee a team of 2 and shape the function to be more efficient and commercially astute. The company is in the heavy Engineering space and seeks candidates with experience in similar technical environments (Oil & Gas/Chemicals etc.).Core duties include, but not limited to:
  • Establish and define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Liaise and agree manufacturing capacity and capability with Operations to ensure all client and business expectations are met, both from pre-contract award and during the entire contract life cycle
  • Managing all aspects of assigned contracts from Pre-Tender assessment/negotiation through to execution
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other external stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are met
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Ensure supplier contracts are structured to mirror main contract KPI’s, commercial terms and delivery timescales
This is a critical hire and applicants with a strong Project and Engineering background are encouraged to apply.
