Our client, a world class development company who are global leaders in their industry, are currently in the process of developing new products to release to the market. As such, they are looking to recruit an experienced Contract Electronics Design Engineer for an initial 6 months to help them deliver on these projects, onsite 5 days a week at their office in Cambridgeshire.
This contract will not accept candidates operating via a PSC, therefore you will be required to work via an Umbrella company.
In this contract you will be responsible for working with existing circuits and making small changes as needed, checking electronic components to ensure they have the correct RoHS status, testing using an oscilloscope and writing up reports on those tests.
Key skills required for the Contract Electronics Design Engineer, Cambridgeshire:
- Strong experience using Altium and OrCAD
- Proven experience in DFMEA
- Electronic testing using oscilloscopes
- Having experience working to IEC 62368 would be desirable
