We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant Manager/Manager to join a friendly and supportive accountancy firm based in St Ives.

This family-run business has built a reputation over the past decade by providing a full range of accounting and tax services to a loyal client base, largely gained through word-of-mouth referrals.

We are looking for a qualified (ACCA/ACA) professional to step into this key role, providing crucial support to the directors as the firm continues to grow. You’ll be part of a close-knit team where your contributions will be highly valued, and you'll play an essential role in maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review and produce accounts for various clients
  • Prepare and review corporation tax returns
  • Manage and prepare personal tax and VAT returns
  • Oversee the preparation of management accounts
  • Directly liaise with clients, providing expert advice
  • Assist in the development of junior team members

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA qualified or nearing qualification
  • Solid experience in an accountancy practice
  • Strong proficiency in Xero
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
